G4S Technology are keen to enforce this standard and in doing so they announce an extension to their Symmetry integration with the Sony range of network cameras.
The Symmetry Video Management System now integrates with the ONVIF compliant Sony SNC cameras. The range includes box, mini dome, fixed and PTZ cameras, all of which are fully ONVIF compliant.
The Sony range, which includes megapixel models, benefits from optimum picture quality meeting customers’ demands for higher resolution video.
Symmetry Video Management is an innovative open video management platform for both analog and digital video. Symmetry can directly record video from network cameras and encoders on integrated NVR software as well as providing the option to directly integrate with NVR and Digital Video Recorder (DVR) systems from other manufacturers.
