G4S Technology’s range of high performance card readers are designed and manufactured in house in the UK alongside our supporting Symmetry security management software.

Card readers are located at entrance points to buildings and rooms, and only allow pre-approved users to gain access to the area. They offer a physical barrier to prevent unauthorised access through granting or denying entry to the card user. There are multiple card reader types available and depending on your site assessment, a combination of the following card reader technology may be recommended:
