G4S Technology's Secure Electronic Payment Risk Management Module is a proprietary fraud analysis and prevention system developed in consultation with a leading UK acquiring bank.
The system offers as standard the industry Address Verification System (AVS) and Card Security Code (CVV2), in which the cardholders address and card security number are checked with those held by the card issuer.
Risk Management also offers additional security and fraud analysis for companies accepting payments in business areas perceived to be high risk, helping business minimise their chargebacks and liability for fraud.
Risk assessment occurs in real time during the transaction request, using an algorithmic scoring system to accept or reject a transaction. The system uses scoring and rules based technology, configurable by each merchant and cardholder, to provide optimal risk protection and transaction analysis.
Both are available through G4S Technology with participating card issuers and acquirers. 3D Secure creates what is called a 'trust chain' throughout the transaction, whereby the cardholder making the payment enters a secure code to verify that they are making the transaction. This verification moves the fraud liability for chargebacks from the merchant to the issuer.
Avoid operational risk and expedite problem resolution with the convenience of a single support agreement that covers your processing systems. G4S Technology provide 24/7 helpdesk, field engineering and outstanding SLA performance to ensure maximum availability of payment services.
